Pinecone Pickup in the Parks: Washington

Join us for our first Pinecone Pickup with Big Brothers, Big Sisters. This event takes place on Wednesday, March 20th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Check-in will take place at the Washington Park Bandshell from 3-3:30pm. 

The Basics

  • Check-in details: All minors need to have a waiver, signed by their parent or guardian. Volunteers over age 18 can sign their own waiver at check-in. This waiver must be completed in order to participate in the event and can be found here.

  • We will provide water and some granola bars as a snack. Materials, tools, gloves, and instructions will also be provided.

  • Volunteers will be working outdoors. Plan to wear closed toe shoes and sunscreen, bring an extra layer in case of inclement weather, water bottle, and work gloves (if you have them).
