National Public Lands Day

Join us for the annual collaboration between Laramie Bikenet, Common Outdoor Ground, the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, the Pilot Hill Project, Wyoming Conservation Corps, Wyoming State Parks, and the University of Wyoming Outdoor Program and SLCE Office. This event takes place on Saturday, September 23rd from 9am-2pm. Check-in will take place in the Wyoming Union Ballroom (2nd floor) from 8:30-9:00am. There will be multiple projects with varying levels of experience and labor.

The Basics

  • Transportation will be available for University of Wyoming students.

  • Lunch will be provided for all volunteers and donuts will be available in the morning.

  • Materials, tools, gloves, and instructions will be provided for all sites.

  • Volunteers will be working outdoors. Plan to wear closed toe shoes and bring a backpack suitable to carry your lunch and personal items, extra layer in case of inclement weather, water bottle (2 liters recommended), and work gloves (if you have them).
