National Public Lands Day

Celebrate National Public Lands Day and Wyoming Public Lands Day with a day of maintenance and trail building at one of multiple work sites. 

This event is in partnership with the SLCE Office, UW Outdoor Program, US Forest Service, Wyoming Pathways, Wyoming Conservation Corps, Laramie BikeNet, and the Pilot Hill Recreation Area and Wildlife Management Area. 

Details:

  • This event is on Saturday, September 25th from 9-2

  • Meet in the University of Wyoming Union Family Room (Room 212)

  • Breakfast AND lunch provided

  • There will be multiple project sites that you can choose from on the day of the event including Pole Mountain, Pilot Hill, and Woods Landing

  • Materials and safety gear will be provided, but wear weather appropriate clothing such as long sleeve shirts, hats, sunglasses, and close toed shoes.
