CVC Mural Prep

• 9am-2pm

Join us for the mural prep, either for the morning shift or for the afternoon shift. During the morning shift, we will be sanding down the walls of the vault toilets in order to prepare them for the local mural artists. In the afternoon, we will be painting primer on the walls (please wear old clothes that you’re not worried about getting paint on). This event takes place on April 13th from 9am-11am or from 12pm-2pm. Check-in will take place at the Centennial Visitor’s Center at 9 am for the morning shift and 12pm for the afternoon shift. We need about 4 volunteers for each shift.

The Basics

• Check-in details: check in inside at the Centennial Visitor’s Center for a safety briefing, instructions, and to grab your tools.

• Food details: Coffee and tea will be available and light snacks will be provided.

• Materials, tools, gloves, and instructions will be provided for all sites.

• Volunteers will be working outdoors. Plan to wear closed toe shoes and bring a backpack suitable to carry your lunch and personal items, extra layer in case of inclement weather, sunscreen, water bottle (2 liters recommended), and work gloves (if you have them).
